Chuck Young started playing drums around age 10 when he started hanging around some of the older musicians who came around his uncle's Music Store.
Randy Hayes hung around quite a bit while touring with Kieth Whitley and Lori Morgan, but he found his true passion when his Grandfather, who was a Jazz Pianist, noticed him playing along softly, so truly, you could say Jazz/Fusion was his first love.

Growing up in the foothills of Appalachia, Bluegrass was a prevalent and constant thing, the Rock & Roll that his Uncle Jimmy Hampton was playing every weekend with his band Sneaky Pete, you could say, influenced him even more.

Getting his first Drum Kit at 13 and having the people he was lucky enough to have influence him made a Monster. His first foray into music was a Hybrid Metal/Punk Band called Mange and the Pissbowl Champions. Followed by an Iron Maiden-esque CLAYMORE from Berea, Ky, with the mighty Michael "Tank" Tankersley.

It wasn't long before he honed his chops enough to move to Nashville and play gig jobs and session work. It was when his cousin and best friends, Lee Bruner and Jason Delph, were all sitting in a room one day that Temporary Fixx was birthed into existence.

Playing with such amazing musicians as Lee Bruner, Jason Delph, John Depew, Owen Reynolds, and Eddie Green. Definitely helped him develop a style his own.

He has played professionally for the better part of 28 years now and shows no signs of giving up

Other that dropping an E.P. and soon album with band DRAECANEA Chuck likes to give lessons, Drum and Guitar to kids who have a passion to learn.

Chuck knows just how lucky he is to have the support of such an incredible team.
