Ørjan Paulsen (Oerjan Paulsen) is a drummer from Bergen, Norway. Playing for melodic death metal
band "Once Awake".
Discovering Sepultura at a young age, Igor Cavalera was  my main reason to start drumming. Later
the new wave of american metal influenced me as a drummer. Bands like Lamb of God, Unearth,
Chimaira and many more"
Once Awake was founded in 2012 in Bergen.After 5 studio albums and several tours around Europe,
drumming is a passion as well as traveling. Playing shows and meet people connecting with music.
You will find Once Awake touring UK and Europe regularly and hopefully US at some point. 
“Cymbals are a very individual instruments and a distinctive sound live and in studio is important for
me. Soultone Cymbals have been delivering the sounds I need to get thru heavy guitars and all the
different models give me the flexibility to evolve and explore my sounds”.
