Being born into a musical family and exposed to Gospel music at a very young age was only the
beginning for TuQica Cakau. He is a musician from the island of Kadavu, in Fiji. TuQica started
playing the drums at his home church at the shy age of 10, so this year will mark 17 years of him
being a drummer.
Though drumming is his true passion, he has pursued other areas and instruments within the
musical field including Piano, Guitar and producing music.
TuQica is a Producer and Music Director for CT Worship, where he developed and produced their
first ever album - Noda I Drodro. He is also one of the Producers for Sounds of the Nations Fiji, a
Fijian contemporary Christian band.
TuQica enjoys learning and growing more in music so he is always looking for opportunities to
collaborate with musicians as well as work at his craft. He is currently endorsed by Collision
drumsticks and has played in conferences, concerts and events all over Fiji and in 4 different
continents. He is excited to be joining the Soultone family and looks forward to seeing amazing
opportunities through this partnership. TuQica is passionate about growing as an artist and hopes
to create more music that helps brings Fiji’s artists to the world stage.
