From an early age, Matt has been fixated on hitting things with sticks—from pinatas to cue balls, to
his first drum set purchased at age 11 with "paper route money.” Matt's influences are as diverse
(Krupa, Copeland, Tommy Lee, ++) as the groups with whom he has performed and recorded (Big
Janitor (East Bay Grunge), The Diablo Symphony, DVC Jazz Band, The IFIC, Kingdom of Dirt, Aqua
Nett SF, The Pinball Wizards, Pepper On The Run). Matt is currently keeping the beat steady and
enjoying the rhythm of life while living in Sonoma County California.
