Vladimir Quintero

Vladimir Enrique Quintero Mata, musician percussionist born in Caracas, Venezuela in October 11th 1969. During his development, he showed great sensitivity toward the artistic manifestations, especially the rhythmic music and legacy from his country.
Began his musical training in 1990, under the guidance of teachers such as Farid Mijares, Alexander Lvinalli, Jesús ¨Totoño¨ Blanco y Alberto Borregales. Recently took private lessons with teacher Orlando Poleo and José Luis Quintana Changuito.
Vladimir Quintero has been characterized by his versatility by playing different musical genres. Among those mentioned, Salsa, Jazz, Afro-Venezuelan, Afro-Cuban, Pop, Electronic Music, among others. The contribution of this talented artist we see it reflected in many musical productions. He has worked closely with Venezuelan an international artist of de stature from Aldemaro Romero, María Rívas, El Pavo Frank, Oscar De León, Cheo Feliciano, Giovanny Hidalgo, Tata Güines, Orlando Poleo, Gilberto Santarosa, Maelo Ruíz, Ilan Chester, María Teresa Chacín, Pablo Gil, Divine, Luisito Carrión, Papo Rivera, Adalberto Santiago, Nino Segarra, Alex de Castro, La Charangoza, among others.
In 2013 he was nominated to Latin Grammy awards with La Súper Banda de Venezuela GUACO for ESCULTURA. Currently forms part of Guaco, from Venezuela where he serves as tumbador ( Conguero) and multi percussionist.
He is an exclusive Tycoon Percusion and now Soultone artist. He is also dedicated to teaching clinics and giving private lessons. In this field he has been facilitator in percussion.
