Vasjon "KingVay" Hill was born November 19, 1983 to a singing mother (Brenda Hill) and a musician father (Lee T. Dean). Vay was introduced to music at a very young age playing for his mom and dads gospel quartet group (the star lights) and various other gospel groups around the city. By the age 12 Vay was one of The cities most on demand drummers playing most of the cities biggest events. At age 19 after winning the guitar centers regional finals Vay was approached by former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham to tour with his gospel group (Remnant) in which led to 2 tours and the recording of 2 albums. From there Vay has played with artists such as Chante Moore, Kenny Latimore, Eric Roberson, Kelly Price, Future, Young Jeezy, Outkast, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Young Dro and more..
