I was born in Kansas February 5, 1985. Five years later my mother remarried and moved to Killeen Texas where l first noticed music. My mother and I joined a church called “Rivers of Living Water Min “. This was the place where l first notice the drums .l noticed two boys around my age playing the drums, l soon became fascinated and amazed. Four years later on an Friday night church service I was approached by an Minister in the church. He told that God told him to pray for me. He also told me that God said that l would be the next drummer of the church. After that night l began to watch the other drummers very close ,l studied and noticed the best in each drummer .Their posture, their timing, their moves, even clues like what made their drum speed faster than others. Every Sunday l brought pencils and pins to practice with on my lap.

I played at practices only for while then as l got better l played all the slow songs in service. At twelve years old l was the head drummer of the church. Three years later l met and became close friends with Chris Harp, Anthony Thorn and Kevin .The church they attended was down the street from my house were played together before and after their rehearsals. That summer we became a group called Heavenly Anointed. We played at homeless shelters, local soup kitchens, grocery store Christmas parties, retirement parties, high school parties and much more. As time went on, we later got jobs, so l decided to maintain a full time job and play in bands. It didn’t matter what type of band it was, as long as it was Christian based .When l was about 19 l meet up with an old training partner of mine named Earl Dix. He had started a gospel rap group called R.E.C. in which he wanted me to play drums live whenever he goes on stage. By this time I’ve played in five bands including a gospel country band. I never quit or gotten fired from a band, however previous bands departed because of School or Military responsibilities, or even jobs that required most of their time. So when incidents such as this occur ,I’d look for something new.

Currently right now l am 25 years old, happily married to my beautiful wife of 4yrs, and also an father 1 son. Maintaining life as an family man and a drummer can become stressful at times, but I see it all as being worth it some day. I hope to one day reunite the band Heavenly Anointed to record an CD of all the songs wrote together. Also I’m still performing with R.E.C when they need me to record or go live on stage with them. I’m also in the middle of finishing my book on the things that I’ve learned to be most important for an musician in an church. I have also been playing the piano and have written a few songs for my own cd “From a Drummer’s Prospective”. In which will include some gospel, jazz, a little singing and some crazy unique drumming. I soon hope to further my music career with Soultone Cymbals by introducing my unique diversity .
