Timothy Pass was born July 6, 1988, in Mobile, Alabama, to the best parents of Timothy Sr. and Tracy Pass. Tim’s journey with the drums began in a very strange way. He started playing in sixth grade after hearing that his school was starting a band. He decided to give the band a try and chose to play drums. Band was something new to him, and he was the only drummer in the school at that time.

By joining the middle school band, he learned how to play the drums by ear by watching his teacher teach him how to play the “Hey Song”. But by being the son of a father in the Navy, it was time to move to Orange Park, FL. And there he continued playing the drums in Orange Park Jr. High School where he had a lot of trouble trying to read music because he was only taught how to play by ear. Soon, he began to learn how to read music at Orange Park High School where he joined the Orange Park Raider Band and made the drumline his freshman year on 5th Bass Drum. While attending high school, his mother offered him a drumset for Christmas but he told her all he wants is a marching snare drum.

All Tim cared about was the marching band and the drumline. But his mother bought it anyway, and he started to practice every day with CDs. After falling in love with the drumset, Tim got offered a chance to play for his church on a 5th Sunday for Hip-Hop Sunday. He decided to play a song from Kirk Franklin’s cd “Rebirth” and everyone noticed that God blessed him with the gift of music. And about a year after that, he was offered a position to play the drums for his church, “Open Arm Christian Fellowship”.

He's currently under the ministry of Pastor Yaves Ellis at New Birth Christian Ministries in Columbus, OH. Some of Tim's influencers are Aaron Spears, Calvin Rodgers, and Steve Weckl. He dreams of being like some of his favorite drummers and being an inspiration to kids who want to do the same thing. He attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, where he received his A.S. degree in Recording Arts and a B.S. in Show Production. Tim has been blessed to be able to Endorse: Soultone Cymbals, DC California Custom Drums, and many more to come.
