Tianna Donigan, born Lynchburg, VA., comes from a family is has music running through their blood. In her family you either sing, play an instrument, or both. She started out singing in her uncle’s church where she was given solos at an early age. By the third grade she learned to play the Violin and read music and played for nine years. When the main drummer at her church left for college it was her turn to step up and play and has been playing full time for the past nine years. Being a female in a male dominated position has been hard for her to prove herself, but once you put a pair of sticks in her hand and she plays the first beat it put the naysayers to rest. She believes that the drums give shape to all forms of music, providing a pulse that cannot be denied. Right now she plays for many different local artist and enjoys every moment.
