Independent artist and Drummer Thomas Desjardins explores not only percussion but can also play
Guitar, Piano, Bass and can write and produce and engineer his own music. With an uncanny
ability to play to the song and develop sounds and beats that add to the songs with creativity. Born in
Massachusetts Thomas started playing music at the age of 14 and has grown over the years and has
played over 800 or more live shows from various bands and musical styles from rock to blues and funk
Thomas Studied music in Massachusetts until he was 21 and then
entered the army. Even in the service Thomas played music.
Thomas influences are Tommy Aldridge, John Bonham, Mike Portnoy, Mike Mangini and of course, Neil
Peart. And many more.
Thomas uses DW collector’s edition. 22” Kick, 12” Tom and 16” floor tom and 14” snare drums of
various sizes depending on the music.
Thomas Soultone Cymbal setup is 18,19,20” heavy Hammered Crash’s, 21” heavy hammered Ride. 10”
heavy hammered splash and 14” heavy hammered Hi Hats.
