SILVIO FIGINI

WildKing, MalaGioia

Started pounding drums at the age of 11 ( his father was also a drummer ... it's in the blood ... ) after 2-3 years of breaking chairs at home thanks to The Police albums and his idol Stewart Copeland who inspires him at the art of the magical instrument.
Three years of lessons at a music school (with teacher Marco Castiglioni) then starts its journey from self-taught as a reference in the beginning the punk-rock, grunge and subsequently more refined with rock and hard-rock of '60 - '70 .
Change various bands in the course of his career filling his musical knowledge with a variety of styles and techniques, a parenthesis with the teacher Franco Penatti that for three years it helps to refine the technique, and then in 2009 came the WildKing, the band of which it's still part and with which the last four years is touring all the north Italy proposing a powerful hard -blues.
With WildKing shared the stage with superstars such as Ginger Brew, Popa Chubby , Carvin Jones and Blue Lou Marini, enjoying good success and recorded one album called “Rock'n'Roll Mothell” in 2011 then supported by a tour of about 50 gigs between 2012 and 2013.
He's currently working with WildKing to songs for the new album due for release in 2014.
The drummers that inspire and have always inspired him are: Stewart Copeland, John "Bonzo" Bonham, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Matt Cameron, Steve Jordan, Dave Raun from which he tried to take as much as possible and send it through his style and his music.
Long live rock'n'roll....
