Born and raised in Denver Colorado, Sean McCarthy has been drumming since he was 8 yrs old. His first zeal for the instrument was while listening to Micheal Jackson's 'Black or White'. Since then, his love for the drums has grown. Learning on pillows rather than drums at an early age, he was delighted when ever he could play a set. Sean played the snare/percussion through-out middle school, then at the beginning of high school joined a band. Because he didn't own a set, he took up the guitar. “I never lost my ambition to play the drums, but while learning the guitar I got to learn how the guitar and and drums should link up with each other in a song” say Sean.

Sean has filled in on drums for metal bands, rock bands, worship teams, and recording bands. Now a days Sean is mostly playing at church's, and is pushing forward in his musical career. He's always looking for the next step, and the next opportunity.
