Samuel Jennings is a self-taught musician with over 25 years of playing the drums, eventually perfecting his gift while studying under the mentorship of Philip Lowman. His musical influences include drum innovators such as Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan, and Jeff "LO" Davis.

Samuel has graced the stage with artists as diverse as The Winans, Bishop Paul Morton, John P. Kee, the late Pastor Timothy Wright and many others. He has also performed throughout the Tri-State area at venues such as Madison Square Garden ,The Highline Ballroom,The Prudential Center, SOB's, Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Cotton Club, and The Blue Note, just to name a few. Samuel, who is also a seasoned theatre musician, and has played for several Off Broadway plays, including "The Road" and "Dry Bones'' just to name a few.

Currently Samuel is playing at the Friendship Worship Center in Mt. Vernon, NY and has been for over 10 years. He also serves as the drummer for the NYC Interdenominational Gospel Choir, Marble Collegiate Church, and has also served as the official drummer for the bands Kizmit and Rhythm Republik.
Samuel always puts God first in everything he endeavors, striving to remain humble while continuing to hone his gift in ministry and in music.
