Ryan Anthony grew up in a small rural town in southern Ontario Canada. His earliest influences include ACDC, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Listening primarily to classic rock n roll he grew to love the incredible guitar riffs and solos. However, it was always the back beat of the drums that inspired him to one day find his passion as a drummer. A little bit late to the game in finding his groove Ryan picked up the sticks in high school playing and practicing to his favourite songs. The great Jon Bonham, the wild Keith Moon, and the technically sound Neil Peart are his biggest inspirations. Seeing the amazing Neil Peart drum solo that was a major part of every Rush show was a huge reason why Ryan picked up the sticks. From then on, it's been classic rock beats while taking on a heavier foot from metal that has created the drummer he is today. Continuing learning and realizing that this instrument can never be truly mastered drives him to be the best drummer he can be for himself and his bandmates.
