Rocco Grieco an American Drummer from the Hamptons Roads area of Virginia. Born in Secaucus, NJ and raised in Jersey City, NJ. Passionate about drums since the age of 12, influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Metallica, and Van Halen. Inspired by the legendary drummer John Bonham’s powerful grooves, precise hits, and unique off-tempo patterns captivated him from a young age. Self-taught without a single drum lesson, he dedicated countless hours to honing his skills, relying solely on his ears, headphones, and a Sony Discman. At 14, he got his first drum set and started jamming with friends in NJ before relocating to Virginia at 16. There, he discovered bands like Sevendust, and the drummer Morgan Rose became another source of inspiration.

Seeking to create a Hard Rock/Metal band, Rocco joined forces with local musicians in the area. Over the course of the next 25 years, they would become the band now known as Valete’ and are currently working on their debut album. He has been an integral part of Virginia's music scene, performing in countless shows and recording two studio albums which received radio play. Rocco's hard-hitting grooves, off-tempo patterns, and precision hits have become the cornerstone of his musical journey and now he has taken another step by making Soultone part of that journey.
