Rob T got his start at playing drums at the young age of 12 years old after drawing inspiration from his cousin Steven who played in his church. Later, the skill and prowess of Robert Sweet of the band Stryper lit the flame and sparked Rob T's energy and passion for drumming, particularly Robert Sweets drumming in the album "Soldiers Under Command".

After years of playing different genres including Latin, Tejano, and rap, and Blues and Hard rock, Rob T joined forces with the band Judge Not, playing drums in place of Steve Martinez, his long time friend who had unfortunately passed away. Rob T spent 2 years in Judge Not, trading between drums and guitar.

During this time, Rob T received a call from the front man, Jaron Touhey, of the Alt Rock band Stop The Sun, about a spot in the band. He decided to give it a shot and has since been bringing the thunder for the last year and a half.
