Rob Brennan's musical journey has been deeply influenced by the live performance energy of legendary bands such as Phish, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, MMW (Medeski, Martin, and Wood), Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Pantera. This eclectic mix of influences has shaped Rob's unique style and approach to music. In the summer of 2012, Rob embarked on a new adventure, relocating from the Northeast to the Pacific Northwest. This move marked a significant milestone in his career as he sought to blend his love of live performance, drumming, and creativity with technology.

In 2015, a serendipitous encounter with local singer/songwriter Wyatt Olney proved to be a turning point in Rob's musical journey. Wyatt's masterful use of lyrical imagery, catchy hooks, and intentional pauses, combined with hard rock and heavy metal elements, resonated deeply with Rob's musical sensibilities. This fateful meeting led to the formation of Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage, a band that has since ignited and excited fans throughout the Pacific Northwest. Fast-forward eight years, and the band continues to delight fans of all ages - performing at some of the most iconic venues in the Seattle area, including The Showbox, The Croc, and Tony V's, as well as festivals in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Northern California.

In addition to performing and booking West Coast tour dates with Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage, he is also involved in writing and composing music for his new hybrid jam/electronic music project, Platypoose. This innovative project showcases Rob's versatility as an artist and ability to seamlessly blend different musical genres. With a career marked by continuous growth, collaboration, and a genuine love for his craft, Rob Brennan continues to delight fans and fellow musicians with his passion and stage presence.
