I started thinking of drumming as a young child at the age of 5. In the 70s, radio played some great
music and I remember Led Zeppelin’s drummer, John Bonham leaving an impression. A couple of years
later and I would discover KISS, which was a major turning point for me as I was enthralled with Peter
Criss on the drums. I immediately asked my parents for records and posters of KISS. My father noticed
me doing the drums to the songs off the Love Gun record and made me some drumsticks. Eventually
my mother got a drum set from a garage sale in the spring of 1978 and the rest is history.
I have been drumming for all types of bands in Albany and Salem Oregon as well as surrounding areas
since 1994. I am still involved in the local scene having created a venue called Midway Music, a music
festival called Fire in the Sky, and also drumming currently in the bands Nuclear Nation, Vatican Wizard, and Red Eyed
Demon.
