Richard Schill

Richard Schill

Richard Schill (born 2 october, 1988) from the town Halmstad on the southern west coast of Sweden is the drummer for the modern melodic metal band THE UNGUIDED. He also plays in bands called MY COLLAPSE and a cover band called FOR FOX SAKE. He got his first mini drumkit from his parents at the age of 3 and playing drums became the main hobby during the growing up. When he got 12 he started taking private lessons by a very talented professional drum teacher, Beppe Wackelin from Halmstad and later he went at the musical high school in Halmstad with the same drum teacher.
Richard started his professional drumming career at the age of 19 when the Swedish black metal band SHINING asked him to join the band. They did a lot of touring and recorded two full length albums before he ended his time in the band. After the time in SHINING he did a session job for the extreme technical death metal band called SPAWN OF POSSESSION and did 4 shows in Australia.
At the beginning of 2012 he got the question if he wanted to join THE UNGUIDED together with his old friends from SONIC SYNDICATE and DEAD BY APRIL, and of course he said yes. And there we are today. They are now touring Europe and are working on the 4th full length album.
