Raymond Allen was born on September 1st, 1981, he started playing music in 1986 in school,
he started playing drums in 1992 when his father’s drummer was taking breaks during band
practice. Raymond took his first drum lesson by a man named Billy Hammond who was the
drummer for his dad’s band, Blue Diamond Band. Shortly after this Billy Hammond left the
band and another drummer, Tommy Moose joined the band and taught Raymond more stuff on
the drums.
Raymond has played in multiple bands throughout the years, in 2004, Raymond started playing
death metal and black metal, it would be year later when Raymond joined the United States
Army where he met his now best friend of twenty years, Joseph Messer, taught Raymond how
to play death metal and black metal on the drums with more finesse, accuracy, and speed.
Now, Raymond plays drums in his solo work as Raymond J Allen, he’s got an EP on Spotify
called Movement No:01 and is currently working on one band where he plays the guitar.
