Philippe started playing music at a very young age by studying piano, singing and music theory at Lyon's music conservatory. After falling in love with metal music and Mike Portnoy's drumming, he eventually switched to drums, took lessons from Philippe Jeoffroy, Loic Pontieux, Kevin Reveyrend, Franky Costanza and Franck Aghulon and graduated at Lyon's Progressive Drum School. He then quickly became professional by teaching and joining various musical projects, from jazz and classical music to funk and metal.

Philippe currently works with multiple music schools in the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region, but also teaches music in elementary schools, children's activity centres, middle schools, etc.

He plays for Dot Nemo (rock/trip hop), Kruzberg (post punk), Slap (classical music/jazz cover band) and Switch (pop/rock cover band). His partners are ProOrca Drumsticks, Soultone Cymbals, Asba Drums, Serial Drummer and Drum Bookstore.
