Patrick Dellai

Patrick Dellai

Patrick Dellai (Pat la Fracasse - Pat the smasher dixit Mike Terrana) started playing drums at 15, with his very first Sonic drums. He played alone for 1 year on the 60s - 70s hits of the time, making his debut on Led Zep Deep Purple etc. Then joined practically a year after day for a professional orchestra in which he played for two years. Patrick continued as an autodidact learning from drummer colleagues and friends while playing, recording in numerous studios and touring live with the following groups: Maybe prod rock group - 70 - 75, Bazooka Rock 75-80, King Size Jazz Blues 80-90, then, Orlando Furioso in which Patrick was recruited by the impressive Opera Rock Show around 1995. This one was really big and it lasted about 10 years from 1995 to 2005. The concept was that each show was unique and played only once. Based on a core of 10, 12 or even 16 drummers, this one was awesome. The performances at the Nautilus Bordeaux (filmed by Arte TV), the Salle Médoquine, the Forum des Arts and La Couronne in Angoulême were truly electrifying. In parallel with the TNT Cover AC/DC group. Then following the group SUPER PUREE including two concerts in Nosy bé (Madagascar) on the largest festival in the Indian Ocean 17,000 people in the Anbodivoanio stadium. Return to Orlando Furioso in 2023 with the great concert in September 2023 at Le Rocher de Palmer France (link) as well as with the singer Guitarist Bern Yeah-Feelhip.
