Obed Cora was Born in Puerto Rico in 1982. As a musician son, he was always interested in music. He began o play drums at the age of 6. His first steps were at church. Two years later he started private lessons that prepare him to be the drummer he is right now. His professional career began playing with local artist such as David Berberena, and Javier Ferrer. Also, urban artists such as like Ivy Queen, Divino, and Redimi-2. Pop Balad artists such as Wason Brazoban, Antonio Orozco, Kany Garcia, Juan Velez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Samuel Hernandez, and Laurie Colon . Latest recording projects Rakim & Ken-Y, Abraham Velazquez, Egleyda Belliard , etc.. Official drummer of gospel artist Rene González, one the best gospel singers of Puerto Rico,. Has toured all throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe. On September 2012 will be part of the tour “Mi Vida” which will begin in the Coliseum of Puerto Rico and then throughout the world.
