Armando Fernandes Sá Neto, better known as Neto
Fernandes Sá is a drummer from Bahia who had his first
contact with the drums in church, at the age of 12, where
he fell in love with the instrument. But his musical career
began in mid-2007 when he returned to his hometown
Vitória da Conquista - BA, where he was a founding
member of several bands/projects from the alternative
scene, with the band Os Barcos as one of his main
highlights.
With the band Os Barcos he recorded a CD (2010), an EP
(2012), a DVD recorded at Sala do Coro at TCA in Salvador
- BA (2010) and the band's 10th anniversary show with the
special participation of singer Nasi da band Ira! (2021).
Neto Fernandes Sá is also a composer and specialist in
music marketing. He has already performed in almost all
states of Brazil and in 2012 he received the Suiça Bahiana
Drummer of the Year Award.
He is currently part of Band Café com Blues, a project
that seeks to rescue and promote the cultural legacy of
Caatinga Bahia (land of singers) mixing blues with the main
regional styles.
His first contact with the Soultone brand was at a used
store where he bought a China 16" from the FXO 6 series,
in 2015, being love at first touch, and today he is very
proud to be part of this musical family.
