SOULTONE ARTIST: Miles Edwards aka Boosh

Born: Bakersfield CA. 4/24/91

I started playing drums when I was 1 years old, I officially started playing when I was in kindergarten, my parents seen the potential I had when I was young, and knew that I was going to become better and successful in my drumming. I grew playing drums at my church, I wasn’t good enough to play on Sunday services, I started off playing during the Friday night service, soon enough I was able to start playing the morning service, I knew then I was getting better. Years went by, as I became more skillful and more focused on my craft, I had the opportunity to play for different church’s under pay roll. I started to play professional gigs at the age of 17, I played in local live recordings and concerts. Then on, I started playing for local groups, Monte Smith and Radical Nation, The Covenant Messengers, Kelvin McGee and Worship just to name a few. I had the honor to play with the gospel artist Donnie Mcklurkin, and also played for the “How Sweet The Sound” regional champion group “Psalms”. A lot of my musician friends were informing that I should seek an endorsement knowing my talent and dedication, I took that challenge and started looking at some various companies that suited me. So, I came across the cymbal company, Soultone Cymbals, I was very inquisitive about the cymbals. When I first heard one of the cymbals I was blown away, the sound, the texture, and its presents, so I immediately contacted Soultone for the endorsement and they gladly excepted me in the Soultone Family, I couldn’t be happier! Now I play for many church’s in my city and play in various studio sessions, and also sheds lol.
