Starting at the age of 8 years old, Michael felt that the drums were not only an interest but a passion. Learning how to play on coffee cans and listening to church worship tapes, Michael became obsessed with all things drums.

Throughout the years Michael has played with many bands most notably with Metal band Dardanelle and recently with Chasing Anthems. Dardanelle released two albums and opened for numerous National acts all over the west coast and Chasing Anthems released three singles with Michael behind the kit.

Now Michael plays with Hilltop Church of Sonora on the worship team and his current 90’s rock cover band Green Lithium.
