Matthew began the pursuit of a musical life in 8th grade. After watching John Bonham’s drum solo in the Led Zeppelin movie ‘The Song Remains The Same’ Matthew was filled with inspiration, the rhythm infection had begun its journey. With this new desire to hit anything that made a sound Matthew’s great aunt Beth gifted to him a beautiful red Pearl drum set BLX series on the condition that lessons be taken. Of course, he started playing in the school bands: marching, concert, jazz, and percussion ensemble. In June of 2013 Matthew performed his first public performance, the introductory act of a drum clinic; soon after he found himself playing in many bands. Drum competitions then came on the radar, Matthew went on to win the majority of these various events. Now he tours with Waiting for Eternity all over the U.S.
