Matthew Malda

Born June 13th, 1989 Matthew grew up in a musically inclined family. His mother a singer his uncle a guitar player singer and his grandmother who sparked his interest in afro Cuban music. At 15 he began playing in metal bands and continued all through high school. June of 2008 he and the lead singer (Andy Prasa) began writing songs together as a project called For The Plane.The two wrote an album 3 years later entitled Which Season. After writing Which Season Matthew did some light percusion and drums on Andy Prasa's acoustic full legnth From Coast To Coast in September of 2012. Both albums were produced and recorded by John Naclerio (Producer and owner of Nada), Eric Castillo (Co-Producer at Nada) and Iris Larson (Co-Producer and back up vocals on the song From Coast To Coast). The Music was recorded at Nada Studios in New windsor Upstate New York. Matthew still plays with lead singer Andy Prasa accompanied by Jeffrey Biegle (bassist) and Josh Spano (guitarist) in their new project called Fias Banks.
