Matt Williams is an up and coming drummer originally from Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom. He has recently completed his Bachelor’s degree in Professional Musicianship whilst studying at the British & Irish Modern Music Institute in Bristol. He is currently the drummer of the emerging Brit-rock band The Proxy Youth.

Matt is a self-taught drummer and has been playing drums since the age of 10. He draws influences from famous drummers such as John Bonham, Dave Grohl, Chad Smith and Brad Wilk. Although mainly a rock drummer, Matt is beginning to adventure into heavier music such as metal-core.
