Marcos Ezequiel Fazio

Senior drummer

Born June 8th, 1988 in Mendoza, Argentina. Son of Cristina and Eduardo. Wife Yamila, daughter Allegra

Born under Christian faith, Marcos started his love to drum and percussion at age 3, at Iglesia Tabernáculo de la Fe (Mendoza). As any child who discovers at early age his passion for music, he started playing drums as a game with jars and paint tins at his family's house backyard. He used to spend hours doing this, letting flow his innate skill that some day would become well known.

Childhood
He started as a public drummer inside Iglesia Tabernáculo de la Fe (Tabernacle of Faith Church). His master and mentor, Daniel Rojas, is a former band drummer and currently is a preacher. Daniel is who taught him and gave advice as regards drums. At age 8, Marcos entered the world of Christian music bands, supported and directed by pianist Martín Nogués, now a preacher of Equipo de Alabanza (Praise Team). At the beginning, Marcos was self-taught, but in time he developed a professional way of study.

Teen age
At age 12, Marcos becomes one of the main drummers of the Equipo, alongside with drummer Julian Casas, one of his best friends. At 14 he forms his first rock band called "Éxtasis" (Ectasy). Eventually, Marcos gains experience by rehearsals and weekly performances. Many soloist and bands recquire his presence.

Marcos' influences come from drummers as Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Chris Collerman and Álvaro López, amongst others.

Youth age
He started playing with very well known artists of Mendoza at age 23. Between those players we can name Emanuel Romero (Soultone endorser), Erica Ali, Federico Rosales, Willy Martinez, Andrés Tapia, One Music, Andrea Francisco, groups such as La Barca, La Gossadera, Cristian Alanis and others.

He was also part of a very well known Argentinian Christian music band: CREDO, hosted by Marcos Alvarez, ex "Puerto Seguro" frontman.

Current time

Both leaders and preachers from outside Argentina have performed great christian crusades, and Marcos was part of many of them. Nowadays is a main drummer of Tabernacle of Faith lead band.

He is also a part of a Jazz Power Trio with Agustín Leal and Flavio Vázquez. He is currently recording drum parts of Cristian Alanis first solo album, and also giving classes of drum skills at Radio Belen studios.

Marcos keeps growing every day as regards music, and spreading his knowledge at professional levels, enforcing new drummers, with a praise heart.
