A name that has been buzzing around the UK
gospel and club open mic scene is the name of
Marc Baptiste (Da General).
Da General broke onto the scene with gospel trio
Siani in 2003. Since then Marc has become
musical director of the gospel group (2005) and
went on to travel on tour with the group to Europe
such as Holland.
Marc has played with some of the UK’s most

promising talent and has graced the stage at
most if not all of the UK’s most known venues
such as Ronnie Scotts & The Jazz café.

In 2008 Da General also graced the stage with
international artist Shaggy on ITV and also
played on the live DVD launch of Andrew
Derbyshire.

2009 saw Da General launch his own project in
The Nu Vibez Band. This band was birthed from
His company is owned and run by
himself and his wife. Nu Vibez as a band have
played for the majority of the UK’s finest talent
and continue to do so to date.

2010 was the start of Da General working with
UK soul Queen Mica Paris and is still working
to date.
