Malik Maillard was born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands where he grew up playing music in church with his brothers. Throughout his 10+ years of drumming, he has shared the stage with some amazing local artists and bands. From playing with over 10 different bands and groups throughout his music career, he has learned to play just about every style of music, making him a very diverse and well rounded drummer.

The thing I really like about these cymbals is that the sound is so bright and vibrant. I’ve played with many other cymbal brands before but these just take the cake. Soultone has helped me by giving me a push into the right direction in developing my skills as a professional drummer. Artist relations have been very communicative and reliable in helping me become a Soultone artist. I would definitely recommend other drummers should try them out!
