Logan Chesebro

One Man. The Band

Artist Bio – Drummer Logan Chesebro
Joining a musical family that includes legendary drummers Nick Menza of Megadeth and Steven Adler of Guns and Roses, Soultone’s newest member, Logan Chesebro of Oneida, New York, is excited and honored to be sponsored and join the Soultone tribe.
A drummer from pretty much infancy, Logan began his percussive journey at the age of four. Taking every musical opportunity to hone his new passion, Logan played in every school band he could until deciding to pursue music full-time at Onondaga Community College. There, he studied under versatile drumming professor, Vincent Ludovico, learning multiple styles, including Afro-Cuban and even Afro-Caribbean.
Fusing his formal learnings with the influences of drumming giants such as Tony Williams, Mike Clark, Jerome “Big Foot” Brailey, Logan brought his own unique take and style back to his first love, rock. Whether keeping the deep pocket of Parliament and Funkadelic or jamming to the joyously hectic and frequently changing time signature beats of the RX Bandits, Logan lives in the rhythm of any musical style.
Proudly using Soultone cymbals, Logan currently plays in the band “One Man. The Band” which tours New York State playing upwards of 50+ shows a year, including past venues such as Funk N Waffles in Syracuse and Montage Music Hall in Rochester. He is also the band’s social media and booking manager.
Indeed a student of all music, he also plays the piano, bass and is even learning the guitar. Even finding time to give back to the community, Logan organized a benefit concert fundraiser for Finnland’s Fosters, a cat adoption shelter in Oneida, New York. The cats and everyone at Soultone hope you follow Logan with his inspiring journey on the drums.

Soultone Cymbals is a brand that makes you feel like you’re part of the family, and their wonderful cymbals makers can make any cymbal to you exact specification! They have a high quality and craftsmanship that you won’t find with the other brands, that’s what drew me to them. I think every drummer should try these cymbals if they want cymbals made their way, not just a generic machine made cymbal. Soultone Cymbals has helped me hone my art better by allowing me the customizations I need as a drummer to take my act to the next level. Soultone artist relations is what holds everything together, the glue of the company, making you feel like part of the family along the way! 5 Stars!!!
