Lachie is a 21 year old drummer hailing from the lovely city of Melbourne, Australia.
At his young age he already has 10 years of experience under his belt and is a regular performer around the Melbourne music scene. His energetic, yet seemingly effortless charisma never ceases to captivate an audience.
Oh Pacific -
Since their formation in 2010, Oh Pacific have rapidly - and effectively - established their own 'uplifting, ethereal style' (Jake Schatz - Tonedeaf, 2012) of alternative grunge rock.
Despite the increased performance pressures associated with playing large festivals - such as Groovin' the Moo - and with well-known acts, including Birds of Tokyo, Tonight Alive, etc, the boys have managed to retain the self-deprecating charm and larrikinism that have seen them engage so successfully with their fans.
Since being announced as a Triple J Unearthed High finalist in 2011, Albert quickly snatched up Lachie to help add a new dynamic to his live act. The pair have continued to climb their way up - and through - the crowded Melbourne music scene. A 'strange yet unique and addictive blend of alternate rock, classical and electronic genres' (Amy Bastow, 2012) and live show has seen the sound alter for the better, whilst still retaining the vital element that define them. The boys have hit the big stage with a slot on the Parklife festival, along with a successful residency at Melbourne's iconic 'The Toff', and support gigs for Boy & Bear, Jinja Safari, Owl Eyes, and other big Australian names.
Jessica is a young but supremely talented country/pop/rock musician out of Melbourne. After storming home to take the 2012 Maton Talent Search crown in 2012, she has brought on Lachie to join her live band. With the full band in slate, they have taken their music up the east coat of Australia, playing at the very popular Gympie Music Muster, along side some of the biggest names in Australian music. Off the back of her latest single 'Walking Away', it saw the group play to a sold out 'Revolver Band Room' in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.
