Kavier Roa was born in Caracas (Venezuela- Currently in Mexico), he began his theory and solfeggio studies at the age of 8 years by his father Henry Roa (MilitaryMusician) trumpeter, composer, director of military bands and founder of the Great Army Orchestra. Then at the age of 14 he studied the cornered clarinet in the nucleus, it would not last long since he would leave it for a Drums, in it he found sounds and colors that he had never paid attention to. This, in turn, is self-taught, he received clases from the teacher Andrés Briceño, cataloged as one of the 20 best drummers in the world, he studied Afro-Venezuelan percussion adapted to drums and continued to study this wonderful instrument on his own, and experimenting with different styles of music such as Afro-Venezuelan, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Pop, Latin, Progressive Rock, he has done work as a section musician in studios in Caracas such as Boris Milán (Sound Engineer currently in New York, 1997), Wlab Estudios (Wladimir Perez), Estudios Izthar (Arturo Leon), Dsound Estudios (Trino Jiménez), thus participating with the percussionist Charles Peñalver (Oscar D`Leon) and excellent musicians such as Eduardo Soto (flutist, harmónica player), Miguel Blanco (bassist), Aquiles Torres (bassist), José Riu (Guitarist), José Silva (Singer- Portugal), Chema Macazaga (Singer- Mexico), Raul Garduño (Bassist), TUNACKA (Music Fusion Afro-Venezuela) where he has experienced quite extensive musical growth with the help of his members in this wonderful proposal for Venezuela and the whole world!!!
