Kaleb Mace, also known to many as “KJ”, is a 16 year old drummer from the Kansas City area (Lone
Jack, Missouri). He has been playing drums since the age of 5. His first love in music was Rock n
Roll. After a family vacation to Tennessee in 2018 , Kaleb's old soul found a niche for country and
even the blues. Over the past decade, he has been a guest drummer with many bands in the Kansas
City music scene.
Kaleb’s instrument of choice is definitely the drums, however he also plays piano, guitar, bass & tenor
saxophone. A time or two he's been known to bring out his mandolin. Kaleb has performed on several
stages in the KC area such as Knuckleheads, Uptown Theater, The Aztec Theater, Worth Harley
Davidson, Ameristar Pavilion, KC Power & Light LIVE, Jerry's Bait Shop & he even made an
appearance in Nashville, TN.
Kaleb joined forces with Haley & Olivia to make the band Black HOK in the summer of 2025. These
young artists are rockin' the blues with originals & covers to entertain listeners of all ages. In addition
to playing drums in the music scene, Kaleb also plays in his high school marching band.
