Justin Bell

Justin Bell is a post hardcore drummer who was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Here he grew a deep love and appreciation for music. His energetic and unique drum style set him apart from others. His dynamic foot work and crisp drum fills bring the music to life.
He first started out learning to play the guitar at age 12. After a few years of playing guitar, he realized that his passion for music did not lie with the guitar and he moved onto bass. After playing bass in multiple projects, he decided he would step up to fill the role of a drummer. His natural ability on the drums was obvious from the beginning. He instantly knew this is where he belonged.
He draws his inspiration from multiple artists to bring his unique and dynamic style. A few of these artists are Gabe Helguera of iPrevail, Jake Garland of Memphis May Fire, Alex Rodriguez of Saosin, Derrick Frost of Chiodos, and Tanner Wayne of Scary Kids Scaring Kids.
While playing with his current project A Lost Asylum, he has played along side The Dead Rabbitts, Famous Last Words, Spite, Villain of the Story, A Funeral Portrait, and I Set My Friends on Fire.
Justin currently plays with the Soultone Abby 4 pack, which includes a pair of 14” Hi-Hat cymbals, 16” Crash, 18” Crash, and 20” Ride. He also uses the Extreme line 12” China cymbal.

After opening my package, the one thing that was very noticeable was the quality and craftsmanship of the Soultone Cymbal. They feel sturdier. No one even comes close to the craftsmanship of this cymbals. The reactivity is fantastic. You can hear every hit without them being overwhelming or being washed out when playing the full kit. The cleanliness of the sound has helped me tighten up the nuances in my cymbal work.
The Hi-Hats have a crispy sound and are very reactive to every hit. The Crash Cymbals cut though the rest of the drums without being overwhelming. The Ride Cymbal is powerful with great sustaining sound. The China Cymbal is crunchy and is must-have for any breakdown.
Customer relations has been helpful through the whole process. They helped me pick the right cymbals along with answered all my questions. Soultone is the best company out there. You can tell they care about they customers by the attention to detail and quality of their products.
