Juan Felipe was born in Manizales, Colombia on september of 1990, starts playing drums at the age of 10 with Ruben Darío Alarcón as his proffesor, who is also professor of the Caldas's University, and later he started his studies with Uriel Andrés Marín as his teacher in the same town. During the next years he formed with other friends and musicians the band "La-tina" wich actually is working in the production of their new album with the renowned productor Kike Purizaga. On 2008 he is admited in the Pontifical Xaveriana University in Bogotá, where he started his musical studies of sound engineering and Jazz Performance - Drums with excellent professors as Jorge Sepúlveda, Johannes Bockholt, Tilmann Dehnhard, Niko Meinhold, Juan Sebastian Ochoa, among others. Since 2008 he has worked as session drumer for many artists and producers. In 2011 formed and belonged to the Miguel Rico' Trio. Nowdays he is playing with Barriosanto, Renown, Mónica Albán, Jose Garavito Band, La-tina, and some other artists in Bogotá.

Juan Felipe, Nace en Manizales-Colombia en septiembre de 1990, empieza a tocar batería a los 10 años con el maestro Rubén Darío Alarcón, profesor de batería de la universidad de Caldas y más adelante, inicia estudios con el Maestro Uriel Andrés Marín en la misma ciudad. Durante los años siguientes conforma junto a otros músicos amigos la banda "La-Tina" que actualmente trabaja en la producción de su disco con el reconocido productor Kike Purizaga. En 2008 es admitido en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, donde inicia sus estudios musicales con énfasis en Ingeniería de Sonido y Batería Jazz con excelentes Maestros, tales como Jorge Sepúlveda, Johannes Bockholt, Tilmann Dehnhard, Niko Meinhold, Juan Sebastian Ochoa entre otros. Desde 2008 hasta la actualidad ha trabajado como baterista de sesión para varios artistas y productores. En 2011 conforma y hace parte de Miguel Rico Trío. Actualmente es Baterista de Barriosanto, Renown, Mónica Albán, Jose Garavito Band, La-Tina entre otros.
