Josh began learning at the age of five from the late Minister Michael Hunter at the Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans, La. from there, he began sitting underSamuel Davis until he became the head drummer. In 2002 & 2003 Joshua also played for the Proclaimers of Christ at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival under the gospel tent ( Directed by John A. Smith; President: Barbra Bently). In 2006 he played for Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Victor Johnson as the backup drummer and learned from Timothy Brooks. While playing on sundays, Josh also played for seventh day Adventist on Saturdays and worked with Brian Clifton. Joshua currently attends Grambling State University and plan on playing football in the 2011 season. Joshua was blessed to have the opportunity to play for Lady Tremaine Hawkins for New Years 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park, "I was introduce to Soultone by Marcus Alexander and I also have a feeling of confidence when I use my cymbals on any of my gigs."
