Joshua Bunn - IV and the Strange Band

Born and raised in Cutler Ridge, Miami Florida. He was exposed to an inevitable cultural and musical diversity. His father
Jackson Bunn is a pianist/keyboardist in several groups in South Florida and worked with Artists/Instructors at The University of Miami Ira Sullivan, Ed Maina, and Charles Bergeron from 2008 to 2016. This helped encourage an interest in multiple instruments starting with the electric bass then double bass. Eventually picking up the trumpet, viola, piano, and guitar mainly for composition purposes. He didn't start drumming until age 12 when finally given the access to a drum set but immediately fell in love. He was forced to move around Florida living in Melbourne, Citra, and Gainesville but was given a job opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee and is currently based there. After 2 years of living there and playing in local bands he was introduced to Coleman Williams IV and started playing electric bass with
IV and the Strange Band in the summer of 2022. After a few changes were made in the bands line up he is now happy to be playing drums and honored to be working with Soultone Cymbals!!!
