My name is Josh Thomason, a.k.a. JT Stix I am 39 years old. I have been playing Drums since I was 14 years old. I Played Drums in High School with the LHS High School Marching Band Drum Line We Competed in Marching Competitions and I got to March on Both the Oregon State Beavers, and the Oregon Ducks Football Fields during our Competitions, I also participated in Concert Band there too. I played a little in Middle School but mostly in High School. I also kept playing on my own and jamming with various Musicians I knew, as I was coming up in the world of Music, my inspiration is Metallica, Megadeth, testament, Trivium, Volbeat, Mark Tremonti, Alter Bridge and various other 80s and 90s an 2000’S Bands as well as current Bands. In the last four years I started Playing Drums again after taking a 15 year hiatus one day I was at work and some thing in the back of my mind was saying I needed to get back into Playing again, because that was my happy place so I reached out and started taking Drum Lessons from the Former Drummer (Garin Rosen from a Band called The Arsonists) and every since then things have been happening for me in good Ways I’m gonna keep on this path of Drumming, and finally achieve the goal of being in a Professional Band and going on Tour as I’ve dreamed about since I was 14 years old to reach that goal would make me the happiest I’ve ever been basically, it would be the lifetime achievement of a dream I’ve had since I was so young and continue to strive for. Since I started to Play Drums Again I was by some Miracle able to Secure two Endorsements with this Wonderful Company and one other for My DrumSticks. I feel so grateful and happy to be doing what I love hopefully I can make a living doing it like ai have wanted to do my whole life. Cheers.
