Jonathon The Impaler Sharkey, was born in Elizabeth, NJ. He started playing drums at the age of 5. When he was 8, his parents made him join the Polish Falcon Cadets Drum Corps in Elizabeth, NJ. He was with the Falcons for 3 years.

After leaving the Polish Falcons, Jonathon still practiced his drumming.

In 1981, Jonathon entered the US Army as a Combat Arms soldier. In July 1983, Jonathon was discharged from active duty as a result of suffering severe injuries to his knees in a training accident in 1982. In August 83, Jonathon enrolled at Kansas State University. His minor was music.

In January 1988, Jonathon turned pro as a boxer. To help his hand speed and coordination, Jonathon practiced his drumming on a regular basis. In November 88, Jonathon had his first pro-wrestling match. From 1995 to 1998, Jonathon worked for WWE Hall of Fame Superstar Rocky Johnson. In 1995, Jonathon helped train Rocky's son Dwayne The Rock Johnson. Jonathon will have his retirement match in 2013.

In September 2007, Jonathon recorded a CD of Elvis Presley love songs. He played the drums on 2 of the tracks.

Besides playing drums, Jonathon is also skilled as a rhythm guitar player. In November 07, Jonathon recorded a guitar instrumental entitled - Psychedelic Spree. This song was used by a German TV show in 2009.

Jonathon has been spotlighted on Saturday Night Live Weekend Update with Tina Fey, Time Magazine, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox, BBC News. In October 2011, he appeared on Rove LA http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2081932/

Jonathon is composing and recording all the songs for the soundtrack, and will be singing 2 Elvis Presley songs (Love Me Tender and Teddy Bear) as well as Frank Sinatra's My Way.

During shows, when Jonathon plays rhythm guitar, his wife Rakhil "Rachel" Dolgorukov Tepes Sharkey will assume drums duties. She will be playing drums in a scene in Creatures. Rakhil is a working actress and film maker, who has worked with Kevin Bacon and Renee Zellweger.
