Hello I'm Johnny Macon. Born and raised in seat of the Mississippi Delta in Greenville Mississippi. I have been perfecting the craft of drumming for over two decades. At a young age while creating beats, and tapping on whatever I could put my hands on I developed a passion for rhythm. Learning music and rudimental work became a breeze when I joined the marching band in high school, which lead to a scholarship to further my academics in college.

My foundation has led me into a very successful career as a percussionist. Currently I work for Jabari Baymon & Increase, Reverand R.C. Barns & Another Chapter, The Way Church of Greenville Mississippi, lastly Malaco's recording gospel group Redeemed. In my spare time I enjoy blogging, gigging and covering songs.
