Joel Carrasco Sánchez, a.k.a. Klejo Drums, is a drummer - percussionist from Cuenca, Ecuador. He is a member of groups such as: I.N.R.I. (Thrash Death Metal), Dark Matter (Heavy Metal), Andrés Zambrano (Worship Band), Rebirth (Calvary Chapel Cuenca Worship Team), Youth Symphony Orchestra of Cuenca. It has also been feat. with: Demoniciduth (Black Death Metal), Moria (Death Metal), Golgota (Black Metal). In addition, he works as a session musician, arranger and composer ( live and using the Fiverr platform).
Born on April 28, 2003 in Cuenca, Ecuador. From an early age he feels attracted to the percussive. At the age of 12, he began his percussion studies at the José María Rodríguez National Conservatory, Cuenca. In this institution it obtains prizes like: Better percussionist (like student in the institution), Better assembly (at national level next to the percussion assembly of the institution). In 2014 he began in the Worship Team of Calvary Chapel Cuenca. In 2018 he began as a percussion teacher at the Hallel Music School. In 2019 he joined the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Cuenca, being the main percussionist. Also, in the same year 2019, he gives workshops of Cajón Flamenco and Drums in the Calvary Chapel Cuenca church.
In 2016, he created with his father (Kleber Carrasco, a.k.a. Lord Ekklektus), and two friends (Daniel Togra and Jairo Bravo) the Christian metal band I.N.R.I., which would undergo some changes in voice and bass, but remains. With this band, he manages to be part of the Vision of God Records subscript, Christian Metal Underground in 2017, releasing Exiled EP and Religion (Single). Subsequently, they join the Nosral Recordings label in 2019. In the same year, they release the self-produced EP Apocalypse.
In 2017, a small tour of Ecuador - Colombia begins with I.N.R.I. and collaborating with the Swiss band Demoniciduth. Since 2019 he collaborates with the Moria band from Cuenca and enters as a member of the Dark Matter band.
