JerVaughn Bratton

JerVaughn "Jay" Bratton was born on March 14, 1992 in Far Rockaway NY, At the age of one, JerVaughn's first instruments were his mother's pots and pans and the walls and tables in his house.

Jay started playing on a toy drum which was given to him by is grandmother the late Maria Boone at church at the age of two years old. He used to sit in front of the Tiny Tots Childrens Choir at the Outreach COGIC every Sunday and played for them while they sang.

Currently Jay is pursing a scholarship to Berkeley College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts with a dual major in performance/production&engineering in his sights. He is presently a member and Minister of Music at Living Faith Ministries, of which the Pastor and Founder is Rev. Rasheen "Cornbread" Rutledge.

JerVaughn gives all credit to God for giving him the breath of life everyday and blessing him throughout his 16th years,as well as the skill and determination to play the drums. With his mother's prayers, constant love, support, and unrelenting tolerance of his loud drumming throughout the past 16 years. JerVaughn believes he will be able to make a living doing the thing he loves to do........Playing The Drums!!!

JerVaughn hopes to soon be sponsored by Vic Firth Sticks, and the DW drums he plays on everyday, and is proudly endorsed by SOULTONE CYMBALS.
