Jeremy Spray

Jeremy Spray has been drumming since he got his first kit at 4 years old. Today, he is still drumming and loving every minute of it! Having grown up listening to anything from Michael Jackson to Metallica to the Dave Matthews Band, Jeremy derives inspiration from an array of musical tastes, striving to incorporate these diverse influences into one complete groove.
Jeremy gained early experience from performing with a number of different bands and singer/ songwriters around his hometown of Lewisburg, Tennessee. Since then, he has had the opportunity to work with several people in the Nashville area, such as Sarah Darling, 615 Collective (Nicole Witt, Jamie Floyd, Michael Logen, Sarah Darling), Julie Lavery, Nikita Karmen, FemkeWeidema, Tyler Flowers, Jessica Dawn, Tim Charron, Lyndsey Highlander, Clayton Bellamy, Tatum Shappley, Terry Greene, Hollywood Yates, Michael Moore, Levi Hart, and Cotton Wine (Brandon James, FemkeWeidema). In addition to learning those drumming skills only gained from live performance situations, he has also had the opportunity to learn from some of Nashville's very own top-notch drummers, as he has studied under Johnny Rabb (Collective Soul), J.D. Blair (Shania Twain), Jim Riley (Rascal Flatts), and Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean).
Jeremy is always looking for new opportunities! Feel free to contact him through this site, or email him at sprayej@gmail.com.

People ask me this, and the phrase that just keeps coming to my mind is that these cymbals sound "more mature." They sound like they've been around for a while...they are quality...they are experience...they are musical. I've played other cymbals, and to me, they sound too "pingy" or cheap. These cymbals have a robust, full sound that compliments the music so well.

Soultone Cymbals seem much better put together. Quality and experience seem to ooze out of them as they are played. They also seem to blend well with the music, but can cut when needed. Overall, just a great diverse cymbal.
Soultone cymbals work in any situation! I'm currently using the extreme series, and I'm LOVING the fullness of these cymbals. The resonance and sustain of these cymbals is unmatched, and to me, they would work well in any musical situation. The cut when needed, but can "swell" with the music too.

Soultone cymbals have definitely shown me a side of cymbals that I haven't really seen before...honestly. From my experience, I've only played fast/ thin/ pingy sounding cymbals, which were pretty one dimensional. However, with my Soutones, I can be as delicate or as hard as I need given the musical situation. Thus, they've helped me cultivate a more diverse musicality depending on what is needed.

Artist Relations has honestly been AMAZING!!! So quick to respond!!! So quick to ship out the cymbals when needed for gigs! Just overall, top-notch! I'm very appreciative :)
