He is a young talented musician that has been playing the drums since he was 2 years of age. He loves playing everywhere he goes, loves playing all types of music and tries to incorporate them in many songs. His musical ability and styles are rooted deep from the church community. He has played with and alongside numerous singers and musicians. At the age of six he started playing at Life Center Cathedral, which was his first church and congas for Raymond Miles which was one of the greatest gospel singers and musicians at that time in the city of New Orleans. At 9 years old he started playing for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Int’l youth division, playing under some of the greatest musicians such as the late Michael Robinson, Joel Britton, and Elvin Ross. He has also played along with stellar award winner, Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr., and stellar nominee Jai Reed. By 13 years old he was playing for the Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church youth mass choir. This is where he spent most of his time playing and learning. Since being back from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina Jeremy has played for groups such as Josh Jones and Nu Horizon, Josh Kagler and HPC (Harmonistic Praise Crusade) local clubs, artist and various churches around Louisiana. He is influenced by various drummers such as New Orleans great Russell Baptiste and very close friend of family Tony Royster Jr. Now he serves as musical director for the Full Gospel Fellowship of Louisiana youth division while also being active in the International Fellowship’s Music Department. He loves to help young drummers to become better and teach them some of the things that he knows. He is glad that he is still doing what he loves.
