The band manic impulse was founded in 2018 by drummer Jeff sanders with an
idea of a theatrical/Industrial metal band that has a unique sound and style. Jeff
also contributed bass, guitar, and sound tracks to the band! Jeff's previous bands
archaic skies, a purple cloud, fallen stronger, and broken oldies helped him to
find resources. James Gibson joined shortly after bringing a bass sound that
intensified the band. James in bands such as noise supremacy, archaic skies.
Jeff and James grew up with multiple musical influences within there family. After
doing a local show Jerry sanders decided the sound was there but it needed
metal guitar riffs. After 1 practice we knew it was complete. Jerry’s previous
bands apostrophe X, turbo finger, influenced the guitar sound. Front man Roger
Morris became our 4th member! Shorty after putting out the Roots album James
and Roger left the band due to personal reasons. Guitarist Jerry sanders took
over vocals and Jerry sanders jr took over the bass.

The tone is deep and dark I’ve been looking for this sound for a long time. The weight of the cymbals and the work that went into making it excise’s expectations great quality.
