Javier Gonzalez is a Venezuelan Christian Drummer who started playing drums at the age of 11 years old at his local church. He is a self-taught drummer that received just four classes and from there, he discovered his love and passion for drums. He developed his technique and style of playing by watching clinics of his biggest influences: Mike Portnoy, Thomas Lang, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Tony Royster Jr., Gavin Harrison, among others. He had played along his career with very well-known Christian artist from Barquisimeto and Venezuela. He is playing now as a drummer and musicians’ director at the "Las Buenas Nuevas" church, one of the most biggest and well-known in Venezuela and specially the Lara state. He has taught along his career many children and teenagers in different churches to get into the drumming world completely. Most of the children are now drummers at their church, he does these kind of things in gratitude to God for the gift he was given.
