Jasmin Guevara is one of the hottest touring drummers in the music scene today. She's played in various countries around the globe including Norway, Costa Rica, The U.K., Marshall Islands, Canada, Iraq, Kuwait, and all across the United States.
Currently, Jasmin Guevara can be heard slammin’ skins with national touring act, The Red Elvises, and pumpin’ pop-punk power with The Sirens. Before touring, Jasmin performed with the house band for one of Hollywood's most exclusive clubs, The World Famous Beachers Madhouse. She is endorsed by Pork Pie Drums, Promark drumsticks, Evan heads, and Soultone cymbals.
Fluent in many styles, including funk, blues, urban/soul, country, rock, latin, and jazz, Jasmin Guevara’s beats have been heard for major national acts such as Pitbull, Foreigner, Davey Jones, The Yard Birds, The English Beat, Revered Horton Heat, and Unknown Hinson, through acts such as Red Elvises, The Van Pelts, and John Pieplow. Her television credits include performing with Chromeo on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC), performing in a scene with The Sirens on an episode of Knight Rider (NBC), and performing as the musical guest with the Red Elvises on Pennsylvania's 69 News (WFMZ-TV).
When Jasmin Guevara is not on the road or stealing the show at L.A.’s hottest clubs, she can be found working with theatre groups such as Lost Moon Radio: LA Fringe Festival winners, and host of the 2013 L.A. Weekly Theatre Awards. She is also a seasoned songwriter and teacher, and freelances with several musical projects.
Born in East Los Angeles, Jasmin Guevara began her music career at the age of seven through singing in the local choruses. She soon picked up guitar, and while in high school, discovered her love for percussion. Jasmin graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood in 2005 with a degree in Commercial Music with an emphasis in Professional Percussion and has been an in-demand musician working constantly ever since.
